"We May Never Love Like This Again"

The Gospel reminds us of a Loving and merciful Father in heaven.
It is worth noting to say God Loves you and me.
Because it happens, due to our bad experiences in life, due to our sorrows and crosses and the horrors we see in the world, we tend to say God is too far from us.
A song writer back home said: Is God perhaps asleep? “Natutulog ba ang Dios?”

Learn to look at the bright side. Learn to see that there are many things in life that God gave us as blessings and many we never asked or expected to have and yet were given to you and me.

God Loves us, and just remember to count on your blessings.

He is the shepherd who leaves the 99 unattended to tirelessly search for us in the wilderness and who rejoices and carries us home tenderly when he finds us. He is like the woman who does not cease to search until she finds that missing silver piece, and when she finds it, she is filled with joy. He is the father in the story of the prodigal son, who no matter what the son did, he accepted and welcomed him back.

Realizing Gods Love for us is a call also to Love one another. To show and share the Love we received from God to others.

The cross is always a symbol of this call to Love. Jesus’ hands are nailed and he stares at us asking: Can you Love for me? Can you forgive and be merciful for me?
Look always for opportunities to show your goodness and Love to others. Do not postpone and take things for granted. A chance to love is always passing, we may never have the chance anymore.
As the song says. We may never Love like this again

Pardon me for reflecting on the parable of the prodigal son this way. You know commentaries and scholars would always judge badly the elder son who complained to the father because he was never given a special treatment no matter how he served the father.
But I guess maybe the father also failed to really show concretely to the elder son the right love and care he needed that’s why he complained. Maybe he took him for granted saying anyway you will always be with me and have everything in the end.
The lesson, it can happen that we are more loving and generous to others and we take for granted those immediately close to us and we know always we need to affirm our love for them.

God Loves you and me. Let us Love one another now.

This is a site of "Leaps of Faith" experiences and reflections. Be it Philosophical, Theological, Practical or Personal. It is also a site of Biblical reflections. But Above all, This is a site for YOU and ME.

"Leaps of Faith"

"LEAPS OF FAITH" Can be a religious movement of a person, an inner movement of belief, of trust on the greatest power of all, The Supreme being..Our Creator and Maker..Our God. They can be resolutions of a person everyday in his life to move forward, to be a better person, and to start a new life. They can be decisions of a person in times of great uncertainties, when he is not sure of what will come or happen and he makes a leap of faith. They can be steps, difficult steps that a person makes on his way to change or to start anew. Or they can simply be a persons resolve to fly, to travel..to widen his horizons, to learn more about life and to grow. These are Leaps of faith we make everyday and in great moments of our lives and they are worth considering and reflecting.
